A woman was fatally stabbed Tuesday night in St. Paul and police took a man into custody.Officers were called to a residence in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood on a report of a stabbing about 9 p.m. They found a woman with apparent stab wounds to her upper body in the 1000 block of East Maryland Avenue.Police said there were multiple witnesses holding a man and officers took him into custody.Paramedics took the woman to Regions Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said they will release her name after the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office confirms her identity and cause of death.Homicide detectives are investigating what led to the stabbing.The woman’s death was the eighth homicide of the year in St. Paul; there were 11 as of this date last year. FULTONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Fultonville woman was arrested and is accused of grand larceny and falsifying business records at her place of employment, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say an investigation began when they received a complaint from a local business owner of stolen cash. They say their investigation resulted in the arrest of Tylutki, an employee of that business. TROY, Mo. - Someone killed two people in Troy, Missouri, and police are still looking for a person of interest Wednesday morning.A man and a woman in their 70s have been pronounced dead as police are investigating this as a double homicide. IRON COUNTY, Mo. - The Iron County sheriff is set to appear in court Wednesday morning. Sheriff Jeff Burkett was arrested last week along with two other deputies for multiple felony charges.Burkett is set to appear before a judge at 10:00 a.m. for a bond reduction hearing. He's currently being held on a $500,000 dollar bond. Burkett was arrested last Thursday for a long list of criminal charges, ranging from stalking to attempted kidnapping. ST. LOUIS - Crews are at the scene of a vacant building fire in midtown, St. Louis Wednesday, morning.The St. Louis Fire Department revealed that the incident started as a warming fire on the second floor. Upon arrival, a witness shared that multiple people were inside the building. Top story: Missing St. Charles woman found dead; 1 man in custody Firefighters searched the building, and did not find anyone. One man did escape the fire by himself with no injuries.This is the second time in the last month that the vacant building caught ablaze. Streets should be open within the next hour.
