JUPITER, Fla. - The St. Louis Cardinals have set their five-man starting pitcher rotation to start the season and plan to finalize their Opening Day roster by the end of the weekend. Kickin’ It with Kiz: Broncos Country isn’t big enough for Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick

Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 15:39:09 GMT

I don’t want the Broncos to trade Jerry Jeudy. He’s just coming into his All-Pro window as a receiver.Ben, happy camperKiz: This is a math question wrapped in football problem. If the Broncos want to pick up the fifth-year option on Jeudy’s contract, they will have far too much money committed to Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick and Jeudy, who combined for only eight TD catches in 2022. Yes, Patrick was hurt. But even a knucklehead like me tried to warn the Broncos not to pay Sutton like a marquee receiver after he tore his ACL. One of these guys has to go. I’m guessing Sutton will be out of here before training camp opens. After all the money the Broncos spent in free agency, where do they need help? Center! We’re in trouble if we start LLoyd Cushenberry and and he hasn’t improved immensely.Josh, fitness proKiz: We admit the the staff here at Kickin’ It Headquarters tends to be a finicky bunch. But what we appreciated about the Broncos’ approach to f...
