Gophers spring football game Saturday moved indoors, not open to public

The Gophers’ spring football game at 11 a.m. Saturday has been moved to the team’s indoor practice facility and will no longer be open to the public.The U switched the location from Huntington Bank Stadium on Wednesday due to the construction on the scoreboards within the stadium and with the chance of poor weather on Saturday. The Gophers have moved most of their recent spring games indoors due to wintery weather.“It is unfortunate that we need to move the game indoors … but we wanted to do what was best for our fans and student-athletes,” head coach P.J. Fleck said in a statement.Fans can still follow the game on the Big Ten Network and on the Gopher Radio Network. JENNINGS, Mo. - A search is underway for a suspect accused of firing shots Wednesday afternoon at one north St. Louis County park. Police responded to Koeneman Park around 3:15 p.m. after a shot spotter alert was activated. ST. LOUIS – A former prosecutor in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office could be the most important witness in the upcoming trial against Kim Gardner. There’s also an attempt to silence her, which is very much out in the open.Natalia Ogurkiewicz came forward during arguments about what the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office should have to turn over. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Adam Wainwright is one step closer to beginning his sendoff season after completing a rehab start Wednesday in Springfield. Wainwright stretched out to three innings and 59 pitches in his first rehab outing since an abrupt groin injury. He limited damage to just a two-run home runs and four hits.
